Wendover town
Hill Farm campsite is only 1 miles from Wendover where there is are some lovely pubs and cafes for something to eat.
Dancersend Nature reserve
Opposite our campsite you will find access into Dancersend Nature Reserve. In spring bluebells, primroses and cowslips, in summer many species of butterflies and the Chiltern gentian, in autumn fungi and the trees with their colourful display.
Wendover Woods
1Hill Farm Campsite is located on the top of Aston Hill and has great access to Wendover Woods running to the rear of the site, it takes 15 mintues to walk to the main area and cafe.
Aston Hill Bike park ( temporarily closed )
Aston Hill Bike Park is a mountain bike venue situated a few minutes bike ride away from the campsite, on one of the steeper slopes within the Chiltern Hills Area of Outstanding Beauty. The park features five graded downhill (DH) runs, a 4X track and a two-part cross-country (XC) loop.
Natural History Museum at Tring
The Natural History Museum at Tring houses one of the finest collections of stuffed mammals, birds, reptiles and insects in the United Kingdom. Great place for a family day out and then a walk round Tring Park, especially on a rainy day!
